The Central Administrative Court had accepted DTAC complaint and issued an injunction for TOT to integrate DTAC’s 1.5 million new numbers into its system

19 January 2007The Central Administrative Court had awarded an injunction today, demanding TOT to integrate 1.5 million new numbers of DTAC into its system.

Chief Executive Officer Sigve Brekke said, “DTAC feels relieved that customers can now receive calls from TOT’s fixed line numbers. The court’s injunction also means that both parties can handle the issue without having to involve the customers, which is the best way out. We would like to thank the ICT minister once again for his tireless efforts to help solve the problem, and we do hope that TOT will respectfully follow the court’s order.”

“DTAC confirms to pay interconnection charge to be in line with free and fair competition principle as stipulated by the current law. We hope that the issue can be settled soon,” he added.

Chief Customer Officer Thana Thienachariya said customers who already bought the new numbers’ SIM cards would continue to enjoy the Bt200 free airtime for two consecutive months. He thanked the customers for their trust and understanding.
